Fairy Guardian - Nightmare Ch11

Coming fully into a space that held no smells, no feels, just images, and bits of words. Dreaming but not just any kind of dreamscape, lucid dreaming. Closing my eyes and loving being here again. Growing up it was hard to find any shred of happiness but as a kid I made my world in dreams, until I turned ten.  Getting up to the seated position, putting my arms back to hold me, and glancing up to the moon. None of this was real but it really did not matter.  Hearing a noise off in the distance like a small animal trying to get out of a bush. Then a larger crash of something coming. All around me seem to go quiet.  A path opened up before me, my body went from the ground to the brick road with nothing more than a thought. So cool. Looking around at the birch trees, rose bushes, wildflowers in a field just ahead, and birds flying above me. Peace. My feet knew where to go without any effort.  The trail cleared just above the hill and there stood the largest white tree....

Fairy Guardian - Sorry Ch10

Leaning on the door, I smell something like hot tar. Looking around my bedroom and don't see anything out of sorts and then my eyes fall on my beautiful sundress.  Black spots are over me. "Are you kidding me? Dead mist goo?"  Rushing to the bathroom and ripping off my clothes and jump into the shower. Hot warm water melts down my tired skin, and I let it cascade every inch of me.  The hot water was starting to cool. My head went up to the side of the shower, and all these bottles are there with labels Shampoo. Conditioner. Extra Conditioner-use once a week. Body Soap. Body Lotion after shower while wet. Smile creased my face, Lily is a wonder witch. Amazing. Smells of lemons, honey, and mint took up the space.  Placing my hands on my heart. I hope they find their family and Hal can give them answers. Going through Lily's regiment and feeling much better. Getting out of the shower, a air pumps on and dries me off. No Towel needed. Touching my silky-smooth hair and my...

Fairy Guardian - Exam Ch9

Crown Prince made his presence known, he came down the hallway like a general and gave orders to other fairies that showed up out of nowhere. "Get this body down to the laboratory at the private royal hospital," Two very scary fairies, had features of primitive beasts with male bodies. Their clothes looked military in appearance with knives on their belts. Maybe they part of the beast faction of Fairy? I just stood there at looking them and then down at what would have been another being, now charred, smelling like burnt grass and something else I do not want to identify. One of the beasts took a substance out of his backpack and let a couple drops land on the body. The goo slid over the body until it wrapped in a bubble. Both males then lifted body briskly off the floor and started moving towards the back of the house. Yeah, definitely that miliary procession walk. I had a boyfriend once that was a cop and was in the military. He was always walking with purpose. Does the Fai...

Fairy Guardian - Friends Ch8

He just continued to make the omelet, as if, what was just unveiled meant nothing but noise in the room. 'King of the Fairy Realm' aka now Hall, because it's easier to say and write. Firstly, he gave me the entire wrong impression of him, sexy CEO look. Secondly, flirted with me like it meant something and then right after tells me my brothers' life is at risk. Thirdly, saved my life from a centipede killing monster. And lastly, is now making me an omelet. Yeah. Crazy Train.  "Brother, when are you going back to your palace and leaving us peasants alone," Anna says in a voice held for kindergarten children. Her voice makes me cringe with a memory of my mother.... "Mom, I need to get to school," she looks at like the scum at the bottom of her shoe for talking when I was not asked to speak. "You will leave Carson Ann Carrington, when I say you will leave.  God has to be granting me all his love to put up with you every day of my life." My arm...

Fairy Guardian - Cookie Ch7

"Ok, I will admit, I am truly over my head. What am I doing here? And why do they all have to be incredibly good looking, I feel like a troll, but to be fair to Fey Trolls they probably sparkle more than me. I know, Mr. Crown sexy suit. slash, mafia boss was throwing no based compliments." Mumbling my thoughts aloud to just here how ridiculous my situation has become. What does good looking Fey people have to do with the fact I am stuck here, nowhere to go and my brothers' life is now in danger. Great. Make Smart Choices, my mother would always say in that I am better than you tone. Ugh. Thinking back to the last time I saw myself in a service station bathroom mirror; dull brown broom dry hair with too thin body not really any curves, eyes that seem underwhelming, and let's not forget my style was a step of from PJ's. Ramen noodle diet and value brand shampoo that was used for everything. Rasing my head, there was a mirror tucked in the corner of the room by plan...

Fairy Guardian - Makeover Ch6

"Before we can do anything, you need a freshen up, and we need to do some labs." Anna walked off with those orders and Basil and I followed after her down a hallway past the state-of-the-art kitchen. I just wondered if this house was in elusion for my benefit. "Here we are," opening the door with a smell of a hospital room and greenhouse. That does not sound possible, but I can only give you what came to me right away. Moving quickly behind her, she says in her boss voice "Girls, I have a project for you." Grabs my arm with a tighter than necessary pressure. Yeah. I am not running away anymore. Where would I go.  Two beautiful women walk towards us from opposite sides of the room. The girl on the right side that looked like a science lab had bright yellow short hair 'bob style' with green eyes. She had her lab coat on with tiny red heels. Her look to me was one of kindness with a big gulp of curiosity.  Giving her my warmest smile. She extends her...

Fairy Guardian - Past Contact Ch5

"This is not easy for me to explain, so I will show you," Anna gets up and the front of the house disappears, and a movie screen theater appears. You see a pictures of what looked to be white robed people coming together in a space that looked to be Gobekli Tepe, which I only know because the last year of college we had to do a paper on something discovered that changed history. Being a history major, it intrigued me how many historical stories told to us are actual only a sliver of the truth of what happened. Anna interrupts my thoughts will a mellow voice, like a story told so many times you know it by heart. "Before I can tell you where Fairy Folk Human Guardians came into our world, let's start at first contact." She moved out of the way and let the scene unfold in front of us.   "My parents, the Queen and King of all Fairy Folk kind with their advisors were meeting with an advanced human race known as Atlanteans. It was a time of peace and prosperity ...

Fairy Guardian - Caught Ch4

Looking around the room, I saw it was straight out of a design magazine. Pictures placed perfectly on the walls of some kind of watercolor scenes. All the rich oak furniture matched with a white crackle paint on it. It was beautiful except no windows. Weird.  Oh yeah and the fact that a woman is looking at me as if I matter and got a job I did not apply for, unless maybe I did??? "Excuse me. Do I know you? Why am I here? And why is there a half fish man staring at me." He looks like I am his next meal. I guess Basil is his name, gave me a smile with all his jagged sharp little teeth. Shivers went down my body like a cold finger touched your back. Instead of being intimidated by him, I gave him one of my mother's queens of the world look. The fish man had the gall to look at me again but opened his whole mouth to show me his scary death face.  "Basil, stop scaring her and leave so I can talk to my new.... friend?" Slight pause with a tender focus with her ocean ...

Fairy Guardian -The Dream Ch3

The sun was beating down upon my skin, and it felt so good. I could drown in this feeling of the sun nourishing you and making you feel peace. The sound of the beach waves coming in relaxed my body entirely. Cool sand was penetrating the back of my body.  "Ahhhh..this is the life."  "Carson, it's time to wake up my girl." Squeezing my eyes shut. Can't people just leave you alone when you are on beach. Privacy Required. Putting on my fake smile but wait She knew my name. Eyes opening to a woman in a snowy white dress, short raven black hair, and deep coco skin. "Excuse me. How do you know my name?" I got up and then it all came back, the drowning, waking up to some weird voices in my room and then this...what in the every-loving is going on.  I stood up too fast and felt a rush come in my head and dizziness took over. She grabbed my arm and the contact felt like touching an electric outlet with a pin. "Ouch." Moving away from her outstretc...

Fairy Guardian - Awakening Ch2

"She is waking up." A whiny voice said somewhere over me, the voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard. My body was there but I felt myself floating above it, almost detached which had a feeling of a balloon on a string. One small gust of wind and I would simply float away. Then in the next breath I was back to nothingness. "Wake up Sunshine, it's time to become part of the living again." This voice was like honey with its warm tones and smooth rhythm. I was a moth to this flame. "I need you to wake up and see a new day. I will be waiting for you." There was a feeling on my neck, then a cinnamon and smoke smell, next wet lips touched behind my ear and finally the sound of a drop of water. I could hear the creek of a chair next to me move closer; a hand was placed on the bottom of my rib cage.  Suddenly a fiery hot flame went through me. I screamed out loud, but no sound came from my mouth. My focus was a snake of fire crawling its way through my body....

Fairy Guardian -The Beginning Ch1

It was a balmy night in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Sweat was dripping down my red splotched face making it stick to the sides of my curly brown hair.  "This heat. Day 300. Ugh."  How many more days can the sun beat down upon us without all of us just burning up.  I could hear the air conditioner slowly dying with it clicking of some kind and a bee slowly buzzing sound coming off it in waves. Swiping my brow. "I need to get out!" Halling my butt off my couch that now smelled slightly of a musty corn fragrance that told me a shower was needed. Unfortunately, the water in the shower came down in a trickle and would take an hour to get fully washed. Another option was needed. My shorts were riding higher up my crack and causing me more discomfort. I stepped outside and could feel the oppressive heat, like hitting an invisible fence that wants to keep me inside.  Climbing down the concrete steps of my tiny apartment to the front yard of my landlord's nice lake house.  Th...

Old Fashion Storytelling

I wanted a space that I could write freely without the expectations of publishing a book but more in the art of storytelling at its most basic level.  The feeling of sitting around a campfire and telling folk tales of wild adventures, scary stories, or memories to be shared.  This blog is for me to just share the stories that are spilling out of me and into the universal shared space.  Here is my safe zone. Anything goes. All mistakes are part of growing. I cannot become the writer I want to be without the fear it's never going to be enough.  I hope you enjoy my stories that come from my imagination, heart, and soul.   Enjoy my first blog book, titled "Fairy Guardian." I hope it will be a series someday. But for now, it's one chapter at a time. Enjoy.    Love to All, Rose Faya
